2008 Seminar - Introduction


The seminar series held in 2008 was organized in two distinct locations; Istanbul and Venice. The first part of the Seminar Series was heldin Istanbul, Turkey on 15-24 June, 2008, while the second part of the Series was offered in Venice, Italy on 29 September – 7 October, 2008.


Each program had three modules. Climate Change and Sustainable Resource Management modules were the common modules where in Istanbul the third module was Sustainable Development and in Venice it was Economic and Political Instruments for Sustainable Development.


There were a total of 33 participants in both seminars coming from the Black Sea countries.
